Happy Fall, y'all {Facade 2017}

Though it does not feel much like Fall here in NOLA, when the Halloween decorations came down on November 1, the Fall decorations went up.

The newly created door pieces, representative of my Uptown Acorn logo, look great on each door. Thanks to artist Cynthia Kolls for her talents. Check out more of Cynthia Kolls work HERE.

A plaid ribbon and bittersweet add a seasonal touch to the magnolia wreath. Plaid ribbons also adorn several porch pumpkins.

Tom the turkey also welcomes all to our Perrier Street home.

I am longing for cooler weather and miss the Fall weather from my Atlanta days.

And the Decorations are Down...

Or should I say UP on the 3rd floor??? J & I worked on putting away Christmas on Saturday for 10:00 AM-4:30 PM, and it feels so nice to have them packed away. The house is cleaned, and it feels so good.

What did I do when I finished? I sipped a cocktail, of course. Cheers to the New Year!

But as with all things here in NOLA, January 6th will see the addition of our plethora of Mardi Gras decorations. Are you ready for purle, green, and gold overload? Stay tuned....

A Clean Slate, y'all!
