It's no secret that Grand Isle took a beating during Hurricane Ida. Thanks for so many of my readers who checked in with me to see the status of Camp Crisco.
It looks like Camp Crisco handled Ida's wrath well. The railings to the balcony took a toll, but the roof is on and that's a good thing.

After finishing school for the year on Friday, J and I headed to our favorite spot, Grand Isle. It was a great weekend of fun, sun, family, and friends.
The weather was perfect, but the mosquitos were plentiful.
