 As a teacher, today is my most favorite day of the school year. "One" is not such a lonely number anymore.

I long for sleepy days, beach time, dinners, pool days, vacations... What are your summer plans?

 It's my most favorite time of the school year, May!!!

With the start of May, the start of the final countdown begins. The seventh graders are always great sports to help me with what has become an annual tradition. As educators, we all look forward to the countdown.

 I just realized that I am into my second week of summer, and I never finished sharing the final end-of-the-year countdown with you.

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the lazy days of summer?

 It's getting closer and closer to summer break. If you are a teacher, you know the feeling. If you are a teacher in southern Louisiana, you know you have had enough of this year (Thanks, Ida!).

 If you follow me on social media, you may have noticed that my annual end-of-the-school-year countdown has begun...

 We made it to the last day of the 2020-2021 school term. Wow is all I really can say! What a year! I hope I never have to teach through this again.

ONE!!! We are DONE!!!

I'm so ready for summer vacation. Today, I am giving my physical science exams. Let the grading and averaging begin.

 4 more days until SUMMER! I am so excited for time off without the dreaded mask. This has certainly been a year to remember, a year we will never forget!

The students were given a mask and simply told to decorate it!
