Giving Thanks for... {Fresh Flowers by Mitch's Flowers}

In many posts that I have written, the common denominator is fresh flowers. I love them, and I have always loved them since I was a young lad.

Upon moving back to New Orleans, I discovered Mitch's Flowers on Magazine Street. The shop is close to home, and Monique and Leslie and the staff are the nicest (and funniest) around town.

Recently, I dropped off two silver trophy cups with two mercury glass pumpkins. I simply told Monique that I wanted to access to the pumpkins since they light at night and to use bittersweet, my favorite at this time of year. The two pieces were delivered yesterday, and they are simply amazing. I can always count on beautiful bouquets from the gang at Mitch's. The new designs feature autumnal grasses, miniature pumpkins, bittersweet, and vines. This is a great arrangement for the Thanksgiving season.

  2. Good evening, Ron! OMG, I L.O.V.E those arrangements! Mitch's did it again! If Natalie gets married in NOLA, which I'm sure she will, I might have to have Mitch's do the flowers! Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo
