Tortoise Shells

Tortoise shells have been and continue to be a mainstay in home decor and accessories. The timeless, classic nature of each shell mixes easily with traditional and modern decor.

You’ve seen them. Tortoise shells and tortoise shell patterns are used for:

I love to use tortoise shells in my home by placing them atop books.

I also like to use them in bowls and as wall art.

They are natural and each is unique. The colors lend to decor of many styles. Using natural elements such as seashells, antlers, and tortoise shells add texture and authenticity to decor styles.

Also, please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers this morning. At 7:00 AM, he will undergo a carotid endarterectomy. Prayers for a successful procedure.

Tortoise shells, y’all!

  3. I'm just reading this, Ron. So glad your dad's procedure went well. I love the way you used the tortoise shells in your den between the green curtains! Being a DZ alum, tortoise shells are dear to my heart! Have a great day! xoxo
