On the Front Porch {Hanging Baskets}

I am loving sharing my outdoor spaces with you. The weather here in NOLA has been perfect, and Spring is the perfect season for growing plants and flowers.

On the front porch, I planted two large baskets about three weeks ago. The baskets are metal and lined with cocoa liner.

I filled each basket with the same trio.

In the middle, I added foxtail fern. Surrounding the fern, I added diamond frost euphorbia and sweet alyssum.

The baskets have really grown over the past few weeks. I love the look of green and white, and the baskets blend in so well with the other parts of the garden.

  8. Oh those are great choices for the hanging baskets. The white alyssum will fill up and spill over the edges and I love euphorbia. I really like foxtail ferns and tried to find them last year with no luck. All I could find was asparagus ferns but they're not as impressive. Excellent choices!

  9. Gorgeous. I am holding off on my hanging baskets until after the painters are done, and then I will have to be careful choosing as it will already be hot here!!
