'Tis the Season {Breakfast Room: Home Tour}

This year, J requested a real tree and large colored lights. I was skeptical, but I believe the tree turned out beautifully. With a quick trip to The Plant Gallery, the perfect 10 foot frasier fir was chosen and delivered. It was placed perfectly in the breakfast room.

The rear tree is decorated with some of our favorite local ornaments as well as special ones from our travels. I am quite happy with the colored c-7 bulbs.

The breakfast room which is opened up to the rear of the house is a perfect spot for some seasonal decor.

The Ballard Designs tablecloth sets the tone as it is a plaid I love. Atop the table is an arrangement of glittered pomegranates in a gold antler-handled tray.

Atop the bar cabinet is a mixed green garland with copper fairy lights.

A newish bar cart features an ice bucket with a tinsel tree decorated in my favorite martinis from Hazelnut. I am in the process of decorating the cart for holiday entertaining, so any tips will be appreciated.
