Acorn Cottage {Devon Planter}

It was a beautiful weekend. J & I recently purchased the Devon rectangular planter from Grandin Road, and this weekend it was filled with plants from my favorite Perino's Garden Center. The Devon planter is substantial in size and fits perfectly in the niche created by the front porch window.

I filled the planter with boxwoods, ferns, variegated ivy and white petunias. The petunias will take us through the spring and summer seasons. I plan on adding white caladiums soon.

Devon planter, y'all!

  1. Good morning, Ron! The planter with the greenery and white petunias looks great in front of the window! It really adds to the Southern front porch facade. Have a great day! xoxo

  2. Gorgeous--of course! Will the petunias get enough sun back there?

  3. Hi Ron. I actually bought these for the last house and they are fabulous planters. My plants did so well inside them. Your porch looks so inviting. Hope you are home from school and staying safe.
    Hugs,
    Kris

  4. That’s a real nice sized planter. Quite perfect for that spot too! The plants are going to be wonderful as they fill out. I looked up your garden center on line- looks like a great place!
