Mardi Gras Mambo {House Floats: Washington Avenue between Prytania & Magazine Streets}

 While out looking at Mardi Gras decorations, J & I spotted this gem on Washington Avenue near Commander's Palace between Prytania & Magazine Streets in The Garden District. What I love most is the simplicity of the Carnival decor. I am not a huge fan of the bouncy house balls strung up in bead strings, for they look quite cheap, but I am a huge fan of these. I even contacted the artist to place my "needs" for next year. I love how the mask and bead string look on this classic white Garden District manse. It's hard to make Mardi Gras classy, but this home does it and does it well.
