Springtime: {Easter in the Sunroom}

 Welcome to the Easter touches in the sunroom. The sunroom is a fun room to decorate seasonally because of the variety of colors - greens, yellows, blues, and reds.

I've had the large bunny {House of Fashion} for years, and he is still a favorite for us.

Small touches here and there add some Easter flair.

Here Comes the Easter Bunny...

During the last month of quarantine, I was able to put out a few bunnies from my stash of Easter decor. I am not a huge fan of pastels, so I do my best to incorporate jewel-hued Easter decor.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

The bunnies have arrived just in time for Easter week. The bunny on the door was hand-painted by Cynthia Kolls. He is a perfect welcome for the Easter season.

Of course, as we spend more and more time at home, the bunnies add some seasonal cheer.

EGGceptional Mantle

The mantle is dressed for the Easter season. I enjoy using the two vintage trophy cups on each side of the mantle, so I created a small arrangement using salal leaves (my favorite aka lemon leaf) and some of the speckled, gilded eggs that I like to use in bowls and containers around the house.

A vintage-looking bunny, trophy cups filled with eggs, and my fave Dyptique Baies candle finish the look.

This year I also added an Easter banner as well as the EGGceptional ribbon I shared yesterday.

The mantle is ready for a visit from Peter Cottontail or the Easter Bunny.
"Run along Jack, here comes the Easter bunny." Who can name the movie of this quote?

A Visitor in the Garden

With Easter approaching, I added the concrete bunny to the front garden. He will be visiting for a few days. I love the way the yard lights shine on him in the evenings.

After the rain of this morning, I was able to get into the garden this afternoon to plant the white begonias. There is no better combo than white and green, especially at night.

It was a great first day of my Spring Break.
