 Nothing to me says Christmas as much as the glow of white twinkling lights once the sun goes down. Yesterday, I shared the front facade and yard with you, so today let's take a look at it once the sun sets.

Mardi Gras: Acorn Cottage {Night}

Mardi Gras is a wonderful season, and it gets even better at night. The purple, green, and gold lights sparkle and add lots to the spirit of the season. The Acorn Cottage takes advantage of the beautiful lights of the Carnival season.

I love the Christmas facade especially after dusk when the white lights come on. The glow of the white lights always gets me in the Christmas spirit.

Halloween {Nighttime}

I love the glow of Halloween lights at night. The spooktacular decor coupled with darkness makes for an eerily, creepy show.

Throw Me Somethin' {Mardi Gras Facade-At Night}

It's beginning to look a lot like... Mardi Gras around Uptown, and the Acorn Cottage is certainly no exception.

From bunting on the fence to purple, green, and gold garlands, wreaths, and lights, we are ready to celebrate the fun of the Carnival season.

Oh My Gourd! {Nighttime Facade}

Halloween in New Orleans is a special time, for so many homes are decorated in ghoulish ghosts, pumpkins, witches, and much more. The Acorn Cottage is no exception to that "rule". 

At night fall, the Acorn Cottage comes to life in flickering flame lights along the fence and throughout the yard. It comes together for a spooktacular display.
