More yogurt please…Yogurtland {& my House Tour is featured}

Yogurtland opened just a few months ago in the spot of the former Pizza Hut next door to the CVS on Pyrtania Street in Uptown, New Orleans. What another welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Yogurtland is a great concept. It is an international franchise chain of frozen yogurt stores. Yogurtland offers self-serve frozen yogurt with active cultures. I am told this format is rather popular because it is relatively inexpensive compared with other yogurt businesses like pinkberry (which I have yet to try).

Yogurtland offers 16 flavors of self-serve frozen yogurt from red velvet cake to madagascar vanilla bean to oreo cookie to pecan and peanut butter. Customers mix and may combine flavors in cups. Over 30 toppings including chocolate, fruit, and nuts are available. I could not resist the Reese’s Peanut Butter cups toppings along with crushed waffle cone.

The process is rather easy:
  • Grab a cup.
  • Dispense yogurt and add toppings.
  • Weigh, pay, & enjoy.

I visited Yogurtland on Sunday with the family for Mother’s Day. It is walking distance, and the weather was perfect for the trip. How precious is my cousin’s child, LuLu?

The yogurt from Yogurtland was a great finish to a great Mother’s Day weekend with mom.
Try Yogurtland, y’all!
OPEN HOUSE PARTY THURSDAYS
I am also so happy to have my home featured on the blog, No Minimalist Here for Open House Party Thursdays. I just love her blog name because there is certainly no minimalist here either. Geaux to blogger friend Sherry’s blog (click the link above) and check out the tour.

Thanks, Sherry!
And I am happy to report that Babs of upstairs downstairs received my May Give Away. Check out her blog for more inspiration. Congrats again, Babs.

  1. Popping over from my dear friend Sherry's blog. Hold on to those oyster plates because they may just disappear one dark night. :) Beautiful home. I have never been lucky enough to visit NO but it's wonderful to visit thru you. A new follower and hope you can visit. ~
