The Weekend that Was {April 5 & 6, 2014}

It was another great weekend in the lives of Ron & J.

On Saturday, J & I ate lunch at Slice Pizzeria on Magazine Street.

We sipped Bloody Marys and shared the special, Buffalo chicken pizza. Yum!

After lunch, J & I stopped at the Uptown plant nursery, Urban Roots on Tchoupitoulas Street. It is the time of the year to get vegetable and herb plants.

I set up the new galvanized troughs in the side yard, filled with good soil, and J planted the veggies and herbs.

    The gala looked fun too.

  9. Are you ready for the routine of another work week after such a week-end? We've done some planting of onions and potatoes here already and will have to replace the rosemary after our harsher than usual winter. Enjoy your Monday!
