Must See {The Crown}

This weekend was the coldest in New Orleans that we have experienced in a while, so J & I vegged and binge-watched all 10 episodes of the Netflix drama, The Crown.

If you have not seen The Crown, you must put it on your must see list.

Based on an award-winning play ("The Audience") by showrunner Peter Morgan, this lavish, Netflix-original drama chronicles the life of Queen Elizabeth II (Claire Foy) from the 1940s to modern times. The series begins with an inside look at the early reign of the queen, who ascended the throne at age 25 after the death of her father, King George VI. As the decades pass, personal intrigues, romances, and political rivalries are revealed that played a big role in events that shaped the later years of the 20th century.

The acting and the sets are awe-inspiring.

Have you seen The Crown yet? Trust me, you MUST!
Now, I can only wait for Season 2...

The Crown, y'all!

  7. It was so good and surprised me because I hadn't heard anything about it when I watched it. I was sick with that darn cold, but this cheered me up tremendously! Highly recommend also!

  8. Love period pieces like this and have watched only the first episode. I'm almost more interesting in the set and costuming than the story line.
