tbt {Sunroom Fabric}

It's hard to believe this post was from a year ago. One year ago, J and I were choosing so many different things for the renovation of the Acorn Cottage. This fabric turned drapes in the sunroom is still a favorite of ours.

With the help of Patricia from Fairfax Fabrics on Magazine Street, I think that J and I have finally settled upon the fabric for the drapes in the sun room.  The colors -green, blue, corals - will look great with the planned art work and furnishings for the room. The wallpaper will be a neutral grasscloth, the sofa is an off white herringbone print, and accents will be in greens and blues. There will be a natural fiber area rug covering the brick floor.

Choosing fabrics is fun, but there are way too many to sort and look through. I make decisions pretty easily but finding the perfect fabric is always a difficult one. I am happy with this decision. Check!

Here is the sun room:

  1. Oh, I can see that room, just from your description. It will be warm and inviting and peaceful at the same time. A great place for a morning coffee!
