Christmas 2022 {Acorn Cottage: Sunroom}

 You already read about the live Christmas tree decorated with our favorite ornaments in the sunroom. Today, I'll share more of the decorations in the room. This room gets a lot of use as it is the place we share most with friends. It is also our favorite space for cocktails.

One of my favorite things is the room is the vintage ornament wreath that I purchased a few years ago from my Atlanta favorite, Boxwoods Garden and Gifts. I also purchased the vintage ornament tree last year and added to my collection.

Various traditional ornaments and collectibles add to the spirit of the Christmas season in the sunroom.

Halloween 2022 {Acorn Cottage: Sunroom}

Many of my Halloween decorations are used in the sunroom. Esmerelda the witch, glittered crows, glittered hands, and a collection of pumpkins set the Halloween tone. Halloween-inspired barware also add to the mood.

Halloween in the Sunroom, y'all!

The Acorn Cottage {Sun room Fabric}

With the help of Patricia from Fairfax Fabrics on Magazine Street, I think that J and I have finally settled upon the fabric for the drapes in the sun room.  The colors -green, blue, corals - will look great with the planned art work and furnishings for the room. The wallpaper will be a neutral grasscloth, the sofa is an off white herringbone print, and accents will be in greens and blues. There will be a natural fiber area rug covering the brick floor.

Choosing fabrics is fun, but there are way too many to sort and look through. I make decisions pretty easily but finding the perfect fabric is always a difficult one. I am happy with this decision. Check!
