And All That Jazz 2017

J and I attended the annual Jazz and Heritage Festival on Saturday, and the weather was perfect.

After eating great food (crawfish bread and crawfish monica), we headed for the stands to listen to the sounds of Irma Thomas, a New Orleans legend and Stevie Wonder.

J had secured special VIP passes from a client, and let me tell you that this is the way to do Jazz Fest. The bathrooms were air-conditioned and clean --- NO port-a-potties. There were no lines for beer. And the area was covered from the sun's rays.

Jazz Fest, y'all!

  1. Wonderful!! I think the VIP tickets is for sure the way to go!! Hate port-a-potties!

  2. What fun! And VIP is def the way to go.

  3. Sounds like so much fun and great seats.

  4. WOW what a great day listing to some terrific jazz. That's the way to go - VIP.
So glad that you guys had a great time.

    Have a great week.

  5. Ron, it looks like a wonderful festival. VIP is the way to go!

  6. Good morning, Ron! I have never been to Jazz Fest, and I never will unless I score VIP passes! No port-a-potties for me, either! Looks like you had a great time! Have a great day! xoxo

  7. Where better to listen to some great jazz than NO? Glad you dodged the porta-potties (ick)...VIP is definitely the way to go.

  8. What a great time and VIP is the best. Glad you had such a great time.

  9. VIP all the way. Love it! We have been lucky several times to get VIP tickets to things and it is always a thrill. Glad they had CLEAN bathrooms- that is always a biggie to me! Have a great week, Ron- xo Diana
