Mardi Gras Mambo {Happy Mardi Gras ~~~ House Floats Review}

 If there was any year to cancel Mardi Gras parades, this was the perfect year. It's freezing {literally}!

I thought today would be a great day to review some of the amazing house floats around town. I hope this is a tradition that keeps on going.

Check out this link for a great House Float Tour: click HERE! Saxophonist Emile Hall, Jr. stopped by the Acorn Cottage for a photo shoot lately. It was an exciting time.

It was certainly a unique season, but the people of New Orleans kept the spirit alive and well. Check out the homes I have featured this season (just click on the links below).

  1. Happy Mardi Gras Ron! Yes, its certainly is a different one in more ways that one. You guys aren't use to that extreme cold in the Big Easy. Just wondering if all your plants are surviving?

  3. Good morning, Ron! I am sick of this freezing weather--am so ready for spring. I truly enjoyed seeing the house floats that you featured during the Mardi Gras season! I hope the people of NOLA keep this tradition up! How cool is that Emile Hall, Jr. showed up at the cottage for a photo shoot--definitely a picture to be framed! Have a great day! xoxo
