Springtime: {Easter Facade}

 Welcome to springtime at the Acorn Cottage! I am not a huge fan of the pastel colors of spring, but I do love to seasonally decorate, so let me take you on a tour of the front garden. Custom, large plaid eggs (NolaBee) grace the entrance along with a concrete bunny.

Baskets of hydrangea, ivy, and geraniums (Perino's) also indicate that spring is upon us.

Another handpainted rabbit (Art by Cynthia Kolls) and metal staked eggs (Phina) sit in the planter on the porch.

I shared my latest doorhanger (Southern Antiques) with you yesterday.

It certainly looks like spring has sprung at the cottage.

Spring has Sprung, y'all!

  3. I'm with you, I am not a fan of pastel colors at all, in the spring or otherwise. But the colors you chose for those large plaid eggs are a good choice. And I love that bunny.
