December at Acorn Cottage: Merry Christmas

 It is Christmas Day, and I am here to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope today finds you surrounded by the people you hold dear, enjoying the simple joys that make the season so meaningful.

Again this year, J and I made our way to our favorite Magazine Street stationery shoppe, Scriptura, to select our Christmas cards. Thoughtfully chosen and filled with shiny confetti, the cards we sent to friends and family were meant to deliver a little extra sparkle and holiday cheer through the mail. There is something so special about sending handwritten notes during this season—a small but heartfelt tradition we treasure.

Monogrammed gift tags and festive cocktail napkins added an extra layer of specialness to our celebrations, reminding me how the smallest details often make the biggest impact during the holidays.

Cheers to you and yours, and may your Christmas be merry, bright, and filled with love. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, y'all!

'Tis the Season {Cocktail napkins}

Cheers!

I love cocktail napkins for any holiday, but Christmas is a favorite. I ordered this year's from Emily McCarthy (Savannah). The red and green napkins feature our RJ monogram encircled in pheasants and laurel leaves in gold foil. They are quite festive.

Cheers! {Emily McCarthy}

I love the newest Low Country cocktail napkins from Savannah's Emily McCarthy.

Featuring a heron, oyster shells, marsh grasses, and crabs, these cocktail napkins are perfect for Southern soirees.

Check out Emily McCarthy.

I am so happy that this is my last Sunday night of the school year. I am so very ready for summer.

What Makes Me Happy {Cocktail Napkins}

Just this past weekend, J and I were relaxing on the Gulf Coast and visited some of my favorite shops. I can never resist the temptation addiction to pick up paper cocktail napkins. It does not dawn on me that my addiction is out of control until I open the large drawer in the piece where I keep all of my paper cocktail napkins. There are many, too many to count. After all, many are very inexpensive, so I never feel too bad picking up a set or two.

I have napkins for each season. I have many with sentiments, and many that are oh-so funny. And of course this Southern boy has many that are monogrammed.

I don't know if I'll ever use all of them, but J & I certainly use our share when entertaining or just sitting in the parlor sharing a cocktail or two. The napkin drawer is filled top to bottom, front to back, and side to side. Cheers!

Heaux. Heaux. Heaux. {Cocktail Napkins}

I love a good cocktail and a great cocktail napkin. For the holiday season, I turned to Savannah's own Emily McCarthy for a couple designs. Gold foil on vibrant red is festive and perfect. Cheers!

Both napkins feature the "R" & "J" monogram.

I also love the linen napkins by August|Morgan. Olive a Martini, oh yes I do!

By the way, the bamboo napkin holder is from Emily McCarthy too! They are a great addition to the bar.

Will you be my {Drinking Bunny}?

How perfect are these August Morgan linen napkins at this time of year?

Will you be my Drinking Bunny? Featuring two facing rabbits and a cocktail, these napkins are perfect for some parlor patter.

I have several styles of napkins from August | Morgan by Kate Hersch. Each set has been purchased at Magazine Street fave, Hazelnut.

Cheers to my Drinking Bunny, y'all!
