The Acorn Cottage {Before and After: Kitchen}

The kitchen is a small room but received lots of TLC during the remodel. The appliances, backsplash, and countertops were changed, added, or replaced. The cabinets were in good condition, so we decided to keep them and had them repainted in glossy BM Chelsea Gray.

The kitchen in May of 2018:

And the kitchen today:

The addition of updated accessories and linens helps to bring the kitchen into the 21st century.

I also love the character of the built-in hutch just outside the kitchen. It is perfect for glassware and storage of dishes and other important entertaining staples.

Kitchen, y'all!

  6. Good morning, Ron! The kitchen looks great just like all of the other rooms that you did blog posts on. I really love the color of the cabinets, and those niches where you can put your cookbooks! I have "stove envy," too! The hutch is also a great plus! Have a great day! xoxo
