Classroom Theme {Get On Board}

I still cannot believe that my summer has ended, and I am back at school. The students arive on Wednesday. Every year, I come up with a theme for the classroom, for it helps to keep me organized. The students also love to see what I can come up with from year to year. I guess that you can say my themes have become traditions for our 7th grade classes. This year, I have chosen the iconic New Orleans streetcar and NOLA street tiles. The streetcar has been given a scientific touch as a scientist is driving the students on their nine month journey. The theme is fun and very New Orleans. Here's a closer look at this year's classroom theme:

  5. I absolutely love it! But wait . . . 91 isn't an A??? Oh no. I'm sunk. You're a tough teacher! I'm sure you are much loved and they work hard for you despite your grading scale! Sometimes the tougher the expectations, the better the results. You are the kind of teacher I would have loved.
