If You Dare {Halloween: Scenes from the House}

 Happy Halloween, y'all! I 'm not a huge fan of Halloween on a Sunday, but J and I will be entertaining trick-or-treaters on our front porch this evening.

I was able to put together our treats for the kiddos this morning. Each Halloween cup contains a Halloween-themed pencil, a ruler, an eraser, a stamp and stamp pad, stickers, and of course candy. Each cup is wrapped up in a cellophane bag tied with a silvery cord.

Here are more scenes from Acorn Cottage:

And one more photo from Susan Kaufman of NYC:

How are you spending the Halloween evening?

If You Dare {Halloween: New York Decor}

 I have followed Susan Kaufman, @skaufman450, a New York City photographer on Instagram for a long time. Her photos of the seasonal decor in and around the city are amazing. I know there is lots of talent in New York, and these Halloween/Fall photos prove that talent. Enjoy!

If You Dare {Halloween: Witches}

 I shared Agnes, the porch witch, a couple weeks ago, so I thought it would be fitting to share a couple more around the house.

Don't tell Agnes, but Esmerelda is my favorite. She was purchased years ago and makes an appearance each Halloween season. This year, she stands at attention in the sunroom.

The smaller papier mache witch candy bucket was purchased at my favorite Seattle retailer, Timothy DeClue Collection. She's a fun addition to the sunroom bookcase. She would even look fabulous on a stack of books.

If You Dare {Halloween: Monster Mask}

 Yesterday, I shared this year's version of the Skeleton House after a year's absence. This year there is also a great video parody that goes along with the skeletons. The creativity never ceases to amaze me.

If You Dare {Halloween: Punny Skeletons}

 After a year without the skeleton display due to the pandemic, the skeletons are back in full force on the corner of St. Charles Avenue and State Street. J and I walked down to the house this morning to check out some new skeletons as well as some old favorites.

I love the creativity of the skeletons. Let me know which is your favorite(s).
