If You Dare {Halloween: Scenes from the House}

 Happy Halloween, y'all! I 'm not a huge fan of Halloween on a Sunday, but J and I will be entertaining trick-or-treaters on our front porch this evening.

I was able to put together our treats for the kiddos this morning. Each Halloween cup contains a Halloween-themed pencil, a ruler, an eraser, a stamp and stamp pad, stickers, and of course candy. Each cup is wrapped up in a cellophane bag tied with a silvery cord.

Here are more scenes from Acorn Cottage:

And one more photo from Susan Kaufman of NYC:

How are you spending the Halloween evening?

  2. Good morning and welcome November, Ron! I wish my sweet Marion lived in NOLA because I would have definitely brought her to your house! Those treats are so clever and useful and beautifully wrapped! We spent Halloween weekend in Pass Christian to celebrate Matthew's and Zach's birthdays and bringing Marion (Snow White) to a Fall Festival at the museum in Gulfport and trick or treating with Marion the lady bug in Zach's parents' neighborhood. The weather, besides windy, was cool (cold for me) and glorious! Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo

  3. What amazing treats! Those were some lucky children who stopped by your porch! We sat at the end of the driveway in our one-street development for the Halloween parade and handed out candy to everyone who came by, even the adults! Probably fewer than 20 total. I will have to plan better next year!
