Fall Plantings

 At the end of October, the flower beds were cleaned making way for the winter annuals. This year, I added lots of snapdragons in white hues to the front garden. You know the saying, "Green and white is always right!" I totally believe it too. I hope that the snaps  do as well as they did last year.

It's Fall Y'all! {Happy Thanksgiving}

 I am currently enjoying time off, much needed time away from "the bank."

I will be celebrating the joys of Thanksgiving with family and friends. I hope that you and yours have lots to be thankful for this holiday season.

 I love the tobacco leaf china pattern by Mottahedeh. It is definitely a classic. When I spotted these offerings by Tom Tom and Company, I knew each would help to complete my Fall seasonal decor. The pillow actually features 3 styles of pumpkins - chinoserie, Herend, and Tobacco Leaf.

Pillow and Placemats, y'all! 

It's Fall Y'all {Thanksgiving: In the Den}

 Thanksgiving decor in the den is minimal, but it certainly packs a seasonal punch.

You've seen some of my blue and white painted pumpkins in an earlier post, but I have not shared the white pumpkins which are housed in a giant clam shell.

The desk arrangement is also filled with autumnal shades.

One and a half more days of school. Bring on the break! We all need this one.

It's Fall Y'all {Thanksgiving: Aged Pumpkins}

 I have shared these pumpkins before, and I will share them every Fall season. These pumpkins are my oldest Fall decor purchased in the late 80s/early 90s from my favorite Thibodaux shop, The Moss Picker. Each is terracotta with faux aged painted moss. The patina is perfect! I love to use them in my Fall seasonal decor.

It's Fall Y'all {Thanksgiving: Dining Room Buffet}

 The dining room buffet is ready for Thanksgiving. White ceramic pumpkins, gold gilded mini pumpkins, and gilded corn cobs look seasonal placed in and surrounding a blue and white bowl. The Carol Hallock painting is still one of my favorites years later. The painting was purchased years ago from Sofas and Chairs as a Christmas gift to J and I.

I am looking most forward to Thanksgiving vacation. It is a much needed break for us.
